How to Remove CA-MRSA From Your Nose

Here is a CA-MRSA decolonization process to help remove MRSA from your nose. These steps should be taken after the MRSA infection has cleared.

  • Apply a small amount of mupirocin ointment into each nostril.
  • Press the sides of the nose together and gently massage to spread the ointment around.
  • AVOID contact with eyes.
  • Do this twice per day for five (5) days.
