| This is Inspired Nutrition's INTERNAL answer to all bacterial infections - including MRSA, Herpes, Hepatitis C, flu and colds!
This is the same coconut oil, with a natural conversion to monolaurin, that has healed South Sea Natives for centuries. It now comes to your defense! There is very extensive research that Ultimate Monolaurin will actually kill ALL forms of the bad pathogen bacteria (and many viruses as well).
The benefit of Ultimate Monolaurin is that it can attack INTERNAL bacterial infections without upsetting your body or the friendly bacteria essential for good health. This also makes Ultimate Monolaurin the perfect complement to our EXTERNAL Skin Infection Defense and our 5-Step MRSA Treatment Plan (on our website). It should be the #1 addition to your immune system against infections.
It includes a pamphlet that explains usage in more detail. A small amount can be taken daily for a sensible and economic general body defense. At the first sign of sickness, the amount can be increased. It does not interfere with or have reactions against any known drugs. It is even safe for children in smaller amounts (explained in the enclosed pamphlet). |

Size and Servings

(My general take on Ultimate Monolaurin is on the 7 oz size recommendations. Not much has changed there.)
This is just about SIZE and SERVINGS.
I ordered both sizes because I gave the smaller one to my daughter (with grandkids) to see if they would use it. It's only been a week but the grandkids had no problem taking 15 pellets with applesauce and tapioca. They haven't tried anything else yet. The bigger container was for us.
I learned from Consumer Labs to check out granules and their servings if you might use them long term. (Evidently, it is easier to fib about granules than tabs and capsules.) Both containers had more weight than advertized. The 7 oz had 64 level scoops; the 21 oz had 191 level scoops (their daily "maintenance" serving). Not enough extra to shout about but at least I'm getting what I paid for. The economy size appears to be the way to go if taking monolaurin long term as we are.

Convinced in monolaurin.

I have become a huge proponent of monolaurin for two reasons:
1) My mother was diagnosed with Wegener's Disease, a very serious autoimmune disease that used to be 100% fatal. It can now be somewhat effectively treated with steroids and chemotherapy but shut down the immune system. In research for a natural way to directly help counter the lack of immune system heading into this frightening flu season (she can't use immune boosters like Echinacea as it fights the prescription drugs), I discovered monolaurin. Twice she has begun to get flu/cold symptoms (not sure which but if anything goes longer then 2 days, it requires immediate hospital care). Both times, she started using the monolaurin in a heavier dose immediately. Both times symptoms cleared up so promptly, no hospitals had to be involved. Pretty amazing for someone with a severely compromised immune system.
2) I have a baby at home and a child in school. Swine flu has recently hit the school hot and heavy with kids and teachers out all over. My daughter's desk mate was a confirmed case which really had us worried. We have been taking the maintenance dose for over two months now and have not even had a sniffle in the house. We upped our dose of monolaurin while feeling surrounded by this nasty flu and we are all doing well. We even survived a trip to Disney World and back with absolutely no sickness.
So we are sold on monolaurin and have been very happy with Ultimate Monolaurin with its concentration and ease of swallowing. They are a quick ship, too. |
great for immune support

Upshot: this made a noticeable difference to my immunity, helped me avoid infections, is more effective than the capsules, and is a much better deal than Lauricidin, a basically identical product. I saved over $20 on 21 oz(a little more than $1/ounce including shipping charges) by switching to Inspired Nutrition, and it works just as well.
I have an immune deficiency as well as chronic Epstein-Barr. My doctor, a MD who also is very knowledgeable about naturopathic options, advised me to take Monolaurin for both conditions--to support immune function, and suppress the Epstein-Barr virus. I started out with the capsules, but was not getting great results, and switched to the pellets. I immediately got much better results from the pellets--my symptoms are decreased and I have not had a major infection since about 2 weeks after the switch. Which is a big deal, since I was getting an infection (sinus, ear, chest) pretty much every time I stopped taking antibiotics.
The first pellets I tried were Lauricidin, which worked great. I switched to the Inspired Nutrition brand because it is much cheaper (save $20 on 21 oz, or about $1/ounce!), and it is basically the exact same thing, works just as well. I noticed no difference in my symptoms at all, looks the same. Lasts forever. I take 1 scoop/day, up it to 2 if i feel I might be catching something.
I highly recommend trying monolaurin if you are having immune problems, and I would start with this product, it is stronger than the capsules and seems to be utilized better. |
